CEDOVIP is looking for a program manager to support the Executive Director in the implementation of CEDOVIP’s strategic plan and to provide leadership to the program and administration staff. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated commitment to promote girls and women’s rights. S/he will be committed to getting results in a fast paced environment
Provide day to day leadership and direction for staff.
Mentor and guide staff in planning, implementation, documentation and monitoring of activities.
Contribute to the development of strategic directions for CEDOVIP programming.
Provide leadership in CEDOVIP’s national advocacy level work
Serve as a member of the organization’s leadership team.
Maintain constructive and respectful relationships with all partners and stakeholders.
Represent CEDOVIP in national and international events.
Foster and sustain a positive, innovative, results-oriented work environment.
Other duties as requested by the Executive Director.
Qualifications for program manager position
At least 6 years relevant work experience in violence against women prevention with at least 4 years in management.
Excellent writing and computer skills.
MA degree or relevant experience.
Proven commitment to VAW prevention work.
Experience in/familiarity with CEDOVIP methodologies a plus.
